Day 14 - Salvador (Bahia)!
After a really good breakfast with a beautiful view of the sea we started our city tour in the amazing Salvador. We met our tour guides in the bus, where they told us a lot about what we are going to see. Unfortunately the traffic in this big city is pretty bad and so we spent two hours in the bus. Our first stop was this awesome and quite famous church with the many colored bracelets. Afterwards we drove to a big public market where we could buy a lot of souvenirs and other stuff. Salvador is very popular for music, so the people bought some small music instruments. For going to our restaurant we needed to go up with the famous elevator. From the top you have an amazing view from the sea and the city. After a good lunch we visited an old and very beautiful church. Inside this church is full of decoration and gold. Then we walked through the old town with the cute colored houses and the shops. Next we went to the famous place where also already Michael Jackson made his music clip "They Don´t Care About us". Then we had free time. We went shopping, eating and just chilled on the place. In the night we went to a theater where we watched a fantastic dance show of the famous dances from Salvador. It really was so nice. How the men jumped and fought and the women danced was just breathtaking. The energy of these people went directly into our bodies and made us smile and dance. All the girls were more impressed from the guys than from the dancing but doesn´t matter, right AnneJ?!

Dia 14 - Salvador (Bahia)!
Depois da primeira noite em Salvador, visitamos a cidade. Primero a gente foi para a Igreja do Bonfim, que é muito famosa pelas fitinhas do BonFim coloridas. Mas tem muito trânsito aqui em Salvador e ficamos duas horas no ônibus para chegar. Depois da igreja todo mundo foi ao mercado local para comprar souvenirs. Nossas guias locais de Salvador deram muitas informações da cidade. Depois do mercado fomos até o topo da cidade alta de elevador (famoso elevador na cidade) - a vista lá de cima é muito bonita! Depois de um delicioso almoço fomos para o Pelourinho com suas casas coloridas e é lá também que o Michael Jackson fez o vídeo da música "They Don´t Care About us". No tempo livre compramos mais souvenirs e na noite a gente foi a um show incrível (Ballet Folclórico). A show contou com músicos e artistas de Capoeira - lindos e talentosos.
